of America (WMMA)
For over 100
years, the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America has worked to increase
the productivity and profitability of U.S. machinery and tooling
manufacturers and the businesses that support them. Over that time, WMMA
has dedicated itself to the advancement of the U.S. woodworking machinery
and cutting tool industry while promoting awareness of American technology
in the woodworking industry.

products.

Association of Woodworking
& Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS)
AWFS began in
1911 as the Suppliers Chapter of the California Furniture Manufacturers
Association. In 1979, AWFS was incorporated as a separate entity to fulfill
a major need to represent the interests of companies and individuals who
supply the home and institutional furnishings manufacturing industries.
Today, AWFS has an international membership that includes manufacturers and
distributors of machinery, hardware, lumber, upholstery materials, bedding,
wood products and other supplies to furniture and cabinet manufacturers.
From its headquarters in Southern California, AWFS works closely with other
trade groups on issues of mutual concern.
